Statement

“Bulletin of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Legal Studies” – is a Ukrainian Law Journal with a long-lasting history and serves as the platform for the exchange and spread of novel research in the domain of law for both legal theorists and practitioners by supplying the sustainable expending of information society as well as crystallysation of national, cultural and human fundamental values as prerequisites for the development with further integration into international educational scope.

The editorial board members are the representatives of various European states: Ukraine, Lithuania, Croatia, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, and Sweden. Among our authors, there are the representatives  of the leading educational establishments – the prominent legal theorists.

Editorial board and editors express their firm position of condemning the aggression of russian federation against Ukraine and claim that no one is able to demolish our devotion to basic human values, and European civilisation choice and we will stand upon protecting these values.

The domain of law recognises no compromise whilst discussing the human rights and freedoms. As a Law Journal, we always condemn any fake practices and ideas, particularly those causing deliberate harm to the human rights. We firmly stand upon the very idea of law and justice, equality and freedom.

We have no right for staying silent and we appeal to all people of good will, to our colleagues from other journals to join us and solidify our forces in strangling the kremlin aggressors.  We are to shape the public view and to neutralise the tragedy of war looming over the whole civilised world.

This is our call to the whole scientific world to unite against unjustifiable and unfair attack on Ukraine, against the infringement of universal values in order to stop any type of international cooperation, participation in international projects, databases, journals for those who don’t share these values andtry to take away freedom and destroy justice, that resulted from our mutual toil for over decades!
